There are so many of these to choose from! I settled on this one after reading a handful of recent, good, and bad reviews. For the Tesla Model Y THE RECOMMENDED XL SIZE fits almost perfectly, though sags an inch or two at the sides but who cares it’s still reflecting almost all of the sunlight. It doesn’t quite fit in the passenger rear seat pocket, but you can gently wedge it part way in where it’s secure enough. Much less expensive than shades laser measured specifically for a particular brand, model, and year, and fits better than the only “custom” fit shade I’ve bought for a vehicle. I can’t speak for the fit in other cars, but would guess their recommendation is likely to be close enough.

The shade folds up to about the size of a frisbee and slips into the included bag in a few seconds. If you’re unfamiliar with this type of tensegrity design (car shades, laundry hampers, other shade tents) it will probably frustrate you the first few times you try to fold it up but you will quickly get the hang of it. If this is you, I would a suggest practicing once you receive it rather than waiting until you’re in a rush somewhere trying to transfer a phone call from your headset to your car while trying to leave a parking spot and fumbling with it like a buffoon… that will only make it more difficult 😛

Fits great letting very little light in. Easy to place. Folding up takes a little getting used to but not hard. No issues. Fits better and covers much better than other shades I have used with my other vehicles which have been “fits most vehicles”. No complaints with this. Folds down to a very small compact size.
