When I moved back to place where I could wash the car myself, I wanted to find a good mit. This came highly recommended and it really does the trick. Slip it on, dip it in soapy water and away I go. Great for getting around the car and into nooks/crannies. Cleans up and dries out perfectly.

I have been using it to clean my car for a bit now, and I have a few comments to make on it. First, it does a really good job at not scratching or damaging the paint. However, I have found that it struggles a bit to get out tougher dirt on the cars or any sap left by trees. I’ve cleaned my car about 6 times with this, and I have started to notice that the fabric has come off in some areas and I will find little green pieces on my car. It’s easy to remove, so it’s not a big deal, but don’t expect this thing to last you years. It’s pretty easy to clean and I would recommend it if you’re wanting to clean and protect your car on a budget.

You know you’re a REAL adult when you get excited for a car wash mitt!! I hate when people write reviews BEFORE they use the product, but even just pulling it out of the packaging I was like OMG THIS IS AMAZING!! It almost goes down to my dang elbow when I put it on! Like 5x the size of the little wet stray dog-lookin mitt that we have now! (Which also seemed to be the same one my parents had growing up!) Believe me when I say I cannot wait to wash my car! Haha I’ll try to remember to update my review after I do! 🙂

I used this to clean a mold ridden car that had sat outside to the elements for a long time. It took some elbow grease and soap of course but this worked really well at cleaning the car. Pretty comfortable to use and it took a while for the inside of it to get wet cause there seems to be a sort of cloth barrier. It fit my hand pretty good even though I have some pretty big hands. Definitely recommend.

The Chemical Guys MIC493 Chenille Premium Scratch-Free Microfiber Wash Mitt has become an indispensable tool in my DIY car care routine. Its plush chenille microfiber material is incredibly soft and gentle on my vehicle’s paint, ensuring a scratch-free wash every time.
What stands out most about this wash mitt is its effectiveness in trapping dirt and grime. The microfiber noodles grab onto particles, preventing them from scratching the surface, which is essential for maintaining a flawless finish.
I particularly like how absorbent the mitt is, holding plenty of soapy water to lubricate the surface during washing. This helps to glide the mitt effortlessly, further minimizing any potential swirl marks or scratches.
One minor drawback is that the mitt can become heavy when fully soaked, which may tire out the arm during extended washing sessions. However, its ergonomic design and comfortable fit mitigate this issue to a large extent.
I use this mitt primarily for washing my car, but its versatility extends to cleaning other surfaces like windows and household items. The lime green color not only looks vibrant but also helps in easily spotting any lingering dirt.
Overall, the Chemical Guys MIC493 Chenille Premium Scratch-Free Microfiber Wash Mitt is a must-have for anyone serious about maintaining their vehicle’s appearance. Its gentle yet effective cleaning action and durable construction make it a standout choice for DIY car enthusiasts.
