CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is an absolute game-changer for anyone seeking gentle yet effective skincare. As someone with sensitive skin prone to dryness, finding the right cleanser has always been a challenge – until I discovered this gem.
First and foremost, let’s talk about hydration. This cleanser is like a tall drink of water for my skin. Thanks to its powerful blend of hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth, and nourished after every wash. Unlike harsh foaming cleansers that strip away moisture, this non-foaming formula gently cleanses without disrupting the skin’s natural barrier, making it perfect for daily use.
But what truly sets CeraVe apart is its commitment to gentle yet effective skincare. Fragrance-free and paraben-free, it’s suitable for even the most sensitive skin types, including those with eczema or rosacea. I’ve experienced zero irritation or redness since incorporating this cleanser into my routine, which is a testament to its gentle yet powerful formula.
Another thing I appreciate is the generous size of the bottle. At 16 fluid ounces, it lasts a long time, even with daily use, making it a fantastic value for the price. Plus, the convenient pump dispenser makes it easy to dispense just the right amount of product without any mess or waste.
And let’s not forget about the versatility of this cleanser. It’s suitable for all skin types, from dry to oily, making it a great option for the entire family. Whether you’re starting your day with a refreshing cleanse or winding down at night, CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is the perfect choice for achieving clean, hydrated, and healthy-looking skin.

This thing has pretty much changed my perception as to what a face cleanser is supposed to do and feel like.
Not only does it not foam, it also leaves skin feeling….well, hydrated.
I also have extremely sensitive and weird skin and this feels perfect for my use.

I have been using the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser for a few months now, and it has become a staple in my skincare routine. Here’s my detailed review:
Packaging and Scent:
The packaging is functional and straightforward, with a pump dispenser that makes it easy to use and control the amount of product. The cleanser is fragrance-free, which is great for those with sensitive skin or who prefer products without added scents.
Texture and Application:
The texture of the cleanser is creamy and smooth, which feels gentle and soothing on the skin. It spreads easily and doesn’t lather, which is typical for hydrating cleansers. Despite the lack of lather, it effectively cleanses the skin without leaving any residue.
Effectiveness:
This cleanser is particularly effective for those with dry or sensitive skin. It removes dirt, oil, and makeup without stripping the skin of its natural moisture. My skin feels clean, soft, and hydrated after each use. It has significantly improved the dryness and flakiness I used to experience, especially during colder months.
Ingredients and Benefits:
One of the key benefits of this cleanser is its formulation. It contains essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, which help to restore and maintain the skin’s natural barrier. These ingredients are known for their hydrating and skin-nourishing properties. The non-comedogenic formula ensures that it doesn’t clog pores, making it suitable for all skin types, including acne-prone skin.
Value for Money:
The CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser offers excellent value for money. The large bottle lasts a long time, even with daily use. Considering its high-quality ingredients and the positive impact it has on skin health, it’s a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to improve their skincare routine.
Conclusion:
Overall, the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is a fantastic product for those seeking a gentle yet effective cleanser. Its hydrating formula is perfect for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin, and it leaves the skin feeling clean and nourished. The fragrance-free and non-comedogenic aspects make it a versatile choice for a wide range of skin types. I highly recommend this cleanser to anyone looking for a reliable and hydrating daily cleanser.

I prefer many of the Cerave skincare line.
I have sensitive skin—and some facial cleansers
can be either a tad drying, or sometimes leave
behind some redness.
In my early 60’s, I’ve been told I have very nice skin. Maybe because I’m not much of a sun worshipper—And don’t believe in over-washing my face (1x day) unless sweaty.
I also try to use high-quality, (often Vegan) or at least products with ingredients that are gentle on my skin, such as Manuka Honey, Avocado, and Green Tea.—while scientifically/dermatologist tested as being effective for my skin type—supporting my
skincare regime.
In general, I have found Cerave products to deliver on their promises—promoting healthier looking skin, effective but gentle hydration—And in restoring/maintaining the skin’s natural moisture balance.
Even if I should happen to get an occasional rogue redness, or irritation (not due to this product) or a blotchy skin eruption—washing my face with this cleanser clears up my facial skin’s appearance in a pampering, corrective way.
Still, I find a little goes a long way.
Always Very Happy w/the Cerave skincare line.
Reliable and gentle results that don’t overstimulate my skin—But only allows for a restorative, hydrated balance—and visibly clear skin.

Another product my mom recommended to me. It is excellent. I use it daily alternating with exfoliation three types times weekly. It leaves my skin soft and smooth and helps with leaving a great foundation to put my makeup on.
